WrenReply is an assistant that sits on a business's website and answers visitors' questions. This page explains what it stores and who touches that data. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Domaniai LTD operates WrenReply. Contact: fabio@getwrenreply.com. Our postal address appears at the bottom of every email we send you.
When you chat with the assistant on a business's website, that business decides why the conversation happens and what to do with your enquiry. We run the service on their behalf.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| The messages in the conversation | So the assistant can follow the thread, and so the business can see the context of an enquiry | 12 months |
| Contact details you type in (name, email, phone) and what you asked for | So the business can call you back. This is the whole point of the product. | Until the business deletes it, or 24 months |
| The page you were on | So the business knows what you were looking at | 12 months |
| A one-way hash of your network address | To spot abuse. We do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into one. | 12 months |
We do not use cookies for the chat, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not build advertising profiles. Nothing here is sold or shared for marketing.
Business customers who sign up have an account: an email address and a password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody here can read it, and the email is used to sign in and to write to you about your own service. We do not add it to a marketing list. Your browser keeps your sign-in token so you stay signed in; that is not a tracking cookie and it never leaves your own browser except to prove who you are to us. Close your account by writing to us and it goes, along with everything attached to it.
That is the complete list. If it changes, this page changes with it.
It is instructed never to ask for card numbers, bank details, passwords, or government identification numbers, and never to handle a payment. If an assistant using our service ever asks you for any of those, that is a fault. Please tell us.
Domaniai LTD is registered in Cyprus, which is in the European Union, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to what we do. That gives you the right to ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to have it sent to you in a portable form, to restrict what we do with it, and to object to it.
Write to fabio@getwrenreply.com. We answer within 30 days, we do not require a reason, and we do not charge. If your request concerns an enquiry you made to a specific business, we will also tell that business, because the enquiry belongs to them.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
For chat conversations: because the business whose website you used asked us to run the service, and answering you is the reason you started the conversation.
For business people we contact about WrenReply: our legitimate interest in offering a relevant service to a business, using contact details that business has published on its own website for exactly that purpose. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will, without asking why, and we delete the record six months after the last message either way.
On servers in the United States. Because we are established in the European Union and our processors are in the United States, those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we date it at the top and tell existing customers by email. We do not quietly rewrite it.
